Rainer Häggblom (1956)

Rainer Häggblom leads the M&A activities within JPD Capital. He has worked as an advisor in some of the largest mergers and acquisitions in the forest industry’s history. In addition, he has advised a large number of transactions in the pulp, paper, paperboard, wood products and other forest industry related businesses in all continents. His strategic advisory clientele includes many of the industry’s top companies, but also smaller companies facing strategic challenges and opportunities.
Mr. Häggblom currently works as Chairman of the Board of Häggblom & Partners Ltd, Chairman and is the founder of Vision Hunters Ltd. He currently works as Chairman of the Board of The Forest Company Ltd and several other energy and technology companies. Rainer Häggblom has M.Sc. (For.) degree from University of Helsinki, Finland and M.Sc. (Econ. and Business Adm.) degree from Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration and several studies in management institutes including INSEAD, France.

Juha Vähäpassi (1964)

Juha Vähäpassi is responsible of financial arrangements and capital raising within JPD Capital. He has years of experience from fundraising and financial arrangements for companies operating in the Nordic countries, Latin America, Eastern Europe and Russia.
Mr Vähäpassi has almost 25 years of experience from finance. Prior to JPD Capital he was the founding partner of E. Öhman J:or Securities Finland Oy. He has previously also worked for Oy Alfred Berg Finland, Servisen Arctos & Partners / Estlander Rönnlund GmbH and Finnish Options Exchange. He studied economics and accounting at the University of Jyväskylä.

Timo Jaakkola is the chief analyst at JPD Capital. He is regarded as one of the leading forestry analysts.
Mr Jaakkola has over a decade of experience from the finance in the Nordic Countries and UK. Prior to JPD Capital he was the founding partner of E. Öhman J:or Securities Finland Oy where he built the forest & paper research product from scratch and originated and contributed to closing several capital raising transactions. He has also previously worked for FIM Securities Oy and Nordea Securities. Jaakkola has M.Sc. (Economics) degree from Helsinki School of Economics and MBA from Moore School of Business, SC.
